What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese Method that has been used to diagnose, treat and prevent illness for over 2000 years. Acupuncture is proven to remedy acute or chronic ailments, relieve pain, enhance recuperative powers, and strengthen the immune system. Your practitioner may also use the following adjunct techniques within your session; Moxabustion (heat), Gua Sha (scraping), Cupping (suction), Auricular Therapy (ear acupuncture), electrical or laser stimulation, or even manual manipulation of the points.

EMI™ was the very first contemporary, acupuncture meridian measurement and diagnosis system . EMI™ measures the 24 meridian points on the body (using the EMI Digital Probe & Computer Interface Module) and automatically enters, graphs, and analyzes those points (using the EMI™ Software), to assist in treatment of the patient.   Patients can visibly see their progress with bar graph results.

In addition to EMI, the pointer plus acupuncture point locator and stimulator is also used. 

What is the acupuncture point locator?

The pointer plus utilizes laser and micro-current to stimulate the acupuncture point, for a needle-less treatment. 

The pointer plus assists in locating the acupuncture point.  When the instrument is moving on the skin, once the desired point is located, the green indicator will remain on and a steady buzz will be heard.

The normal treatment process will sufficiently take 30 seconds and there is almost no pain during this process. It is worry free of any infections since the needle will never insert into the skin.
